Photographs Fired By Door of Yakima Home

Yakima Police are investigating a gang associated taking pictures documented on Saturday evening. Capt. Jay Seely states officers have been named to a home in the 1500 block of Landon Avenue at about 11:00PM Saturday.

When they arrived they found a 15-yr-outdated lady, who is a regional gang member shot in the upper body spot. She and her mother advised law enforcement that they heard the doorbell ring Saturday evening. The teenager went to solution the door and was as an alternative shot in the chest by anyone who fired gunshots as a result of the door. Seely says the girl was taken to a Yakima Valley Memorial Clinic and then transferred to Harborview Healthcare Center in Seattle. That’s where she was taken care of and launched. Seely states she was shot in the upper body space but the bullet didn’t strike any very important organs. He states she was really lucky she wasn’t killed.
