The shift is being created out of “an abundance of warning,” Fb wrote.
“We presently prohibit ads for weapons, ammunition and weapon enhancements like silencers,” the site post from Saturday reads. “But we will now also prohibit adverts for equipment these as gun safes, vests and gun holsters in the US.”
Fb, on Friday, also explained it is monitoring for “signals of violence” or other threats in Washington, D.C. and throughout the state.
The announcement comes in the wake of the Jan. 6 attacks on the U.S. Capitol when supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the building. Several people today are now struggling with fees.
