The Parts That Make The Different Hydroponic Systems
Agriculture is considered to be one of the main activities practised by most people either directly in their farms or indirectly through the processes of processing and manufacturing different agricultural products in different factories Agriculture as an independent sector is taken as a base of many economies with the agricultural products being grown used for either exports or consumption. Most countries that are well established and developed have a good agricultural base that tends to meet the different needs of different individuals. Some economies may specialize in various forms of agriculture depending on the resources that are available within those economies. Due to the fact that different plants grow in climatic conditions and soils that are very different, it is important to decide on the type of agricultural practices that we want to conduct. The most trending agricultural practice which has been greatly adapted by many countries with the advancements in technology is hydroponics.
Hydroponics is considered to be a subset of hydroculture that basically involves the process of growing plants using various mineral nutrient solutions found in water solvents without employing the use of soil. Terrestrial plants can be planted with the roots being immersed in the solution. The nutrients used in this agricultural practice are mainly from duck manure, normal nutrients or fish waste. Some of the basic parts that you will require in order to build the different hydroponic systems are growing chambers, reservoirs, submersible pump, simple timers, air pumps, delivery systems and grow lights. There are six main types of Hydroponic systems that are commonly used include; water culture, wick system, Aeroponics, drip system, ebb-flow and the Nutrient Film Technique.
Aeroponics as a type of hydroponics generally involves the process of keeping roots of various terrestrial plants in environments which are saturated with some drops of various nutrient solutions. This method does not require a substrate and basic entails growing different plants with roots suspended in different growth chambers or in deep air. The main advantage of this process is excellent aeration.
Ebb-flow systems can be rated as some of the most common hydroponic systems that can be done at home. Ebb-flow systems are easy to construct and they can be built with any material which might be found lying around. The drip system is the most common type of hydroponic system used by many farmers around the world. It is an easy concept that only requires few parts yet very effective and versatile. Here people just drip nutrient solutions on different plant roots so as to keep the roots moist.
Hydroponics is a good agricultural practice used by different farmers in different economies. Hydroponic has become of the most adapted type of agriculture which uses some mineral nutrient solutions which originate from water solutions.
