We initially took note of Barcelona-based structure studio/creative agency Dora Daar when we stumbled on their Oráculo Carpet, a circular woven rug that wraps close to the foundation of a tree. It was built by founders and ideal friends Nat Sly and Pepi de Boissieu following a vacation to Senegal, where by it’s typical to see households collect below the shade of a tree. “[It] was their put of reunion,” they say. “Under the cover of the trees, every day dramas and moving like tales were played out.”
This interest to the poetry in human-produced objects is evident in all the merchandise they’ve curated for their online retailer. The collection is spare—just 23 goods and 3 workshops (one particular on how to generate altars, an additional on astrology, and a third on meditative drawing)—but each one thing feels thought of and effectively-made (the two collaborate with artisans, who execute their suggestions).
From their internet site: “We aim for and deeply believe in modifying the way we create and consume. All of our assignments are domestically sourced and sustainable. We are engaged with the human beings that manufacture each of our products and consequently dedicated to good trade. We believe that this is the new luxurious, one particular that is manufactured honestly, honestly, with actual time and thought put into just about every undertaking.”
