When Annsley McAleer’s consumers asked her to devise a scheme for their daughters’ bedroom in their new summer time home in Ogunquit, Maine, she knew just what shades to select. “I realized the girls had been at an age where by they would be interested in blues and greens, so I confirmed them various possibilities in this coloration variety,” claims the designer, whose individual daughters are the same age. 4 To embellish the cathedral ceiling, McAleer commissioned attractive painter Pauline Curtiss of Patina Types to make a cement tile-like sample with a bohemian twist. “The ceiling is so large, I wanted to do some thing interesting to warm it up,” McAleer states.
5 The handmade chandelier by Stray Doggy Patterns characteristics spiky papier-mâché leaves that enjoy off the ceiling pattern.
6 Chase Construction crafted the ladder and railing for the loft. “We made the irregular balusters with a farmhouse feel in keeping with the type of the residence,” McAleer states.
